About the Tozer Foundation
The Tozer Foundation was created under the Last Will and Testament of the late David Tozer who was a lumberman in Stillwater, Minnesota. He harvested his lumber in the St. Croix Valley.
Mr. Tozer directed in his Will that a charitable corporation be formed with a mission of support, charitable purposes, as may be determined by the Board of Directors.
David Tozer’s Will also specified that a significant portion of the organization’s assets be used to assist needy and worthy young people in Minnesota to obtain a post secondary education. He further directed that preference be given to young people from Kanabec, Pine and Washington counties. Currently the Tozer Foundation awards approximately 450 to 500 scholarships each year to said “worthy and needy” students.
