Tozer Foundation
About the Tozer Foundation
The Tozer Foundation was created under the Last Will and Testament of the late David Tozer who was a lumberman in Stillwater, Minnesota. He harvested his lumber in the St. Croix Valley.
Mr. Tozer directed in his Will that a charitable corporation be formed with a mission of support, charitable purposes, as may be determined by the Board of Directors.
David Tozer’s Will also specified that a significant portion of the organization’s assets be used to assist needy and worthy young people in Minnesota to obtain a post secondary education. He further directed that preference be given to young people from Kanabec, Pine and Washington counties. Currently the Tozer Foundation awards approximately 350-400 scholarships each year to said “worthy and needy” students.
